Hidden gem of the lower mainland. In the summer when tide is low, you can walk out to the adjacent island! Very cool.

My favourite place by the water in all of Vancouver. :) Gorgeous views are all around. The beach is small, but it feels more secluded. There is a huge green space ideal for BBQs, and the washrooms are very clean for beach standards. We love to kayak here as well. The waves can get a little tough for beginners, but it's well worth it!

Great for diving. Lots of open grassy space for picnics and frisbee tossin'. There's a concession open in the summer. With a short walk down to the beach with some good dive spots. Parking can be tricky in the warm months, but there is an auxiliary parking lot.

Beautiful place, may even see some marine wildlife. Some of the most beautiful sunsets are here. Be careful not to get stuck on the island as the tide comes in.

My favorite get away from Vancouver. Close enough to just escape and be by the sea. Great views of the Georgia strait, watch the ferries and sailboat glide by... And plenty of space and playground for kids.
